Special Delivery
So I finally have a moment to myself and to check the blog and add some pictures, but I'm using my brothers laptop and it doesn't have a place for me to load pictures from my memory card so I thought I would just take the time and devuldge the details of the delivery for those of you who are curious! WELL it all started friday before the baby was born I had contractions all night long each one 10 mins apart, they hurt too but because they were 10 mins apart I didn't feel it was time to go the hospital until they get closer, so 7am Saturday they stop and now very random some 40 mins apart some 5 mins apart, they just weren't staying consistant but they were getting more painful. So Sunday after Jethro came home from church I told him I want to go to the hospital just to get checked because they were hurting so bad. So we went in and I told the nurse what was going on she looked hesitant that I should even be checked but she can't tell me no, so when she checked me she was so suprised to find I was already dialated to a 5. She kept saying over and over how suprised she was, so I was admited and got my precious drugs lol. When I had Ana the epidural wore off half my body three times and it started happening again with this delivery and I think the other half of my body was getting a double dose because it was so numb I couldn't move or feel my other leg at all it was really funky. So we went into the hospital at 2 and by 6:15 I was a 10 and feeling the pressure to push!! I pushed for about 20 min and at 6:38 Peninaolemoana was born! I couldn't believe it, I kept saying "I can't believe she is out" compared to my delivery with Ana that was a breeze! I could have 12 kids if all deliveries were like that hahaha but not really maybe 4 kids at the most. Anyway, I'm so happy to have a healthy baby girl! Ana has been taking on the role of big sister better than I thought she would. She loves to talk to Penina and sing to her. She gives her hugs and kisses all the time and is always willing to fetch what Penina needs. Jethro has been such a big help, he lets me sleep when I need to and cleans the house!! I feel so blessed, life is great and I'm enjoying my little family!!

No baby yet for those of you wondering, but I feel like it will be this weekend. I feel my body getting ready I'm so sore its hard to walk or should I say waddle haha. Jethro gave me a blessing this morning and it gave me a new strength! I'm so grateful for the power of the priesthood. I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father has in trusted me to bare this child and raise His special spirits here on this earth! I love the gospel and I hope that you all know of its truth and if you don't pray for that knowledge, for the knowledge that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lords TRUE church here on this earth!!! It will change your life!

2008 Fano Summer Olympics
We had our own summer olympics on friday, the kids really enjoyed it. It was actually my nephews, Maika and Tula'i's birthday party. It was so much fun this is Ana attempting to do the balloon popping event.

Tautai and Maika won the gold for the balloon popping.

This is Gracie doing the Hula dance event, she made up her own game cuz she didn't like the other games lol

Ana and her cousins teamed up for the three (six) legged race. As you can see they laughed the whole way to the finish line.

And won the gold for the race!!!

Toa doing the bean bag toss!!

He won the gold!!

This was such a fun day, its sad to see the end of summer is here but we are going to continue to enjoy the warm days and nights while we can and brace ourselve for fall and winter!!

Waiting around....
We are in the waiting game, I have contractions every night but nothing consistent just my body getting ready. I'm getting really excited and can't wait to get this baby here, but I'm not looking forward to the recovery. I really hope that this recovery is easier then my first. They had to use foreceps when I had Ana so I was so torn up after that and it took me the full six week until I could walk normal and sit without a donut. But I didn't have contractions with Ana like I am having now so I hope that is a good sign that my body will be more ready this time around!!
I haven't taken pictures for a while now and I picked up my camera to see whens the last time I took pictures and found that Ana had been playing with it. I thought it was kind of funny, I guess Jethro knew she had it cuz he seems to be posing for a picture here and the rest are in the eyes and mind of Ana. Enjoy!!
