Walla Walla

Last week Jethro and I and Jethro's cousin and his family along with Cliff and Maile's family took a trip up to Walla Walla Washington to visit family. We camped along the Snake River at a really nice campground. We had a blast, its just too bad its a 12 hours drive or we would visit more often! The drive was a killer but Washington is full of wheatfields and Grape vineyards, it was beautiful to see! Here is a slide show of our drive up there and our campsite. Thanks to a glitch in the system...

Its 3:42AM Tuesday July 14th and I just got home from watching a special pre-screening of Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince!!



Reason being, my sister in-law bought tickets on-line to see Harry Potter at Jordon Commons and on the print out it stated our movie was Tuesday July 14th 12:24AM so we show up and think its odd that there is not a whole lot of people there and the movie theater is closed. So we think well maybe they will open up for the midnight showing in a minute......we wait and while we wait some people walk by who have a key to the door unlock it and go in and as they were going in we asked them if they were here to see Harry Potter, they were hesitant to respond but said that tonight is a screening for employees of the movie theater. So we went in and talked to a manager showed them our print out that stated our movie was July 14th 12:24AM she told us that it MEANT July 14 going into July 15th and that our movie time is for Wednesday, we were not having that. So we talked her into letting us stay and watch it with the employees!
It was so awesome, I LOVED the movie they did a good job with it of course having to leave out a lot of stuff from the book BUT they did a good job, I won't say to much more as not to ruin it but I was so excited to be able to see it tonight or I guess this morning I had to blog about it right away cuz I know I'm going to be to tired during the day!! I give it 20 stars!!

Big Wheels Forever

I loved riding my big wheel when I was young. We lived in a col-de-saq and we would ride our big wheels around and around the col-de-saq. The sound of the plastic wheels on the side walk bring back those memories. I love it that big wheels are still around!
