I don't know what it is about cold overcast days and being sick with a cold but I'm in the mood to sit on the couch and wrap up in a blanket and watch Anne of Green Gables. I love that show thats one show I will never ever get sick of watching!!

OMG that is my favorite, then they came out with the Avonlea series that was ok, but not as good. Also I hear that they had a movie with Anne and Gilbert in war times when they were a bit older, but I've never been able to find the movie- maybe it was just a rumor!
I pulled that out this summer and my chickies LOVED it! Natalie is now reading the books. We watched it over several nights, out on our patio while covered in blankets. We talked super descriptively for days after that!
And to answer the previous bloggers questions, yes, there was a sequel about a married Gil and Anne who are separated by war...but to be honest, it wasn't great. I'd just stick with the originals!
Amen one of my faves, I agree stick to the originals. The new one will just disappoint.

Aww I hear you. As soon as I read this I wanted to curl up with Hot Chocolate and Go to Green Gables. TOo bad we don't live closer to each other!
