Halloween Fun

Some of our traditions we like to do for Halloween is go to Vineyard Gardens Pumpkinland and go thru their fun tour of the pumpkin patch and farm and pick out our pumpkins.

We take our pumpkins home and clean 'em up and carve them. We got four pumpkins, one for each member of the family. Jethro hurt his finger the night before playing volleyball so I had to do all the work, I cleaned 'em out and carved all the pumpkins with some help from Ana! Its was alot of work but it was fun I love Halloween its one of my favorite holidays!!

Stitches again....

We had a rude awakening Wednesday morning. Ana was asleep in Jethro's spot in our bed and that's the side closest to the wall and baseboard heater. So at about 2:30am she was turning in her sleep and fell out of bed and smacked her head on the baseboard heater. I didn't have my glasses on when I pulled her back in bed with me and held her on top of me while she cried. I felt what I thought where her tears running down on my face so I kept wiping it away when I finally looked at my hand and realized it wasn't tears it was blood.
I looked down and saw a gash in her forehead, poor thing. I called for Jethro, cuz he was sleeping in the living room, no he wasn't in the "dog house" he just like to fall asleep watching t.v. He took Ana and cleaned her up and we had our first trip to the emergency room! The nurses were great, they were so sweet with her. Ana was freezing in the cold emergency room so they got her a warm blanket and turned on cartoons for her while we waited for the doc. She was doing so good letting the nurses and doctor look at her ouchie until they had to numb it she cried and cried. Then the doctor came in to do the stitches and even tho Ana couldn't feel any pain after they numbed she didn't like having her face covered by the sheet so the doctor could stitch her up. Luckily it was only two stitches and it was over fast. The nurses felt so bad for her she got two stuffed animals and four stickers for her trauma!! Compared to her first experience getting stitches this time around was a breeze

SHWING!

For the last couple of months I've been trying to teach Ana to swing by pushing her legs forward and back. So today while I was in the office she came running in and saying "Mommy Mommy I can swing all by myself, you don't have to push me anymore!" So I followed her back to the swing and she jumped on and started swinging, I was so proud of her! I'm so happy I don't have to push her anymore poor thing would have to wait until I could put the baby down to come out and push her, now no more waiting! SHWING!!!

Wee Witches Weekend

This weekend was the "Wee Witches Weekend" at Gardner Village If you've never been to Gardner Village check out their website its such a fun place for a girls day out! It was my niece, Ashli's birthday she turned 5 and this is what she told her mom she wanted to do for her birthday, she is such a smart girl and what a great idea for a birthday party, especially an October birthday! We had so much fun the girlies wore their witch hats and since Ana is going to be a witch for Halloween I let her wear her dress as well! We had so much fun eating lunch and shopping. The only downside to it was that it was so darn crowded, Gardner Village is getting more and more known and I don't think I like that so much lol. We've been going to Gardner Village since I was young and I feel like its been our fun little seceret shopping place to go, now everyone seems to know about it and making it their tradition as well! But it is such a fun place who can help but love going there!!

This is what I spent my money on, clips for Peni's hair. I spent way too much for them but they were to darn cute!!

My Husband

Thanks Jeane for the tag, this is a perfect time for it because this Sunday is our
6th wedding anniversary!

What is his name?
Jethro Salilo Fano

Who eats more?
It depends on what we are eating but most of the time Jethro packs more in than me.

Who said "I love you" first?
Jethro

Who is taller?
Me just by a couple of inches.

Who is smarter?
We both have our strong points but I would say Jethro is overall

Who is more sensitive?
Me.

Who does the laundry?
Me

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
I use to but we just switched when the baby was born so I could be closer to the crib.

Who pays the bills?
I do. I keep trying to get Jethro to take over so he won't want to spend so much, but I enjoy paying them most of the time.

Who cooks more?
I do most of the cooking, but Jethro is a better cook than me, he is more creative with food I wish he would cook more!

Who is more stubborn?
Jethro is way way stubborn, I can't break him, but I try I do try.

Who is first to admit they are wrong?
Me, I hate contention.

Who has more siblings?
Jethro, he has 3 brothers and 3 sisters. I have 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Who wears the pants in the relationship?
We both respect each others needs and opinions so we are pretty equal.

What do you like to do together?
Jethro and I love to be outdoors. We both love camping, swimming, fishing anything outdoors. We love to play games and hang out with our families and we love to karaoke (even without a machine)!!

Who eats more sweets?
Me, I have a big sweet tooth!

Guilty pleasures?
His or mine? His I would say are playing Xbox until 6am

How did you meet?
We met at work. For some weird reason after I met him and he walked away the thought came to my head "what if you just met your future husband" I told myself I was being stupid and well little did I know I was right lol

Who asked whom out first?
Jethro asked me and I didn't take him seriously at the time so I just laughed. But then he kept asking and I thought "Oh dang he is serious!" and the rest is history!

Who kissed who first?
For those of you who may not know, Jethro is the first and only guy I have ever kissed. Growing up kisses to me were very sacred I didn't want to just kiss anyone. So when Jethro and I started dating he wanted to kiss and I told him no but after about two weeks I decided I really liked him and I let him kiss me.

Who proposed?
Funny story....Jethro has actually proposed to me twice. First time, it was all in good fun, I was getting ready for my mission and we were hanging out at work one day and he asked me what it would take to keep me from going on my mission and I said a ring so he jokingly took a co-workers ring and got down on one knee and proposed we had a good laugh. Two years later, he did it again but for reals this time. He planned a birthday party for me and he even had a pinata. So everyone took turns hitting the pinata and finally I took a turn and they put the blind fold over my eyes after I swung at it a few time I took off the blind fold and there was a ring box on the ground and Tautai was holding a bouquet of flowers so I turned around and Jethro was sitting there with his guitar and sang me the song from "Wedding Singer" called "I want to grow old with you" and proposed in front of everyone! It was really sweet and I was totally surprised.

His best features and qualities?
Jethro's best features are his smile and his eyes. He can give me a look that will melt my heart. He is always making me laugh. One of his greatest qualities that I admire the most is his awareness. He is very observant and can see things I never ever would have seen. Whether it be peoples moods or actions or a deer in the canyon he is very aware of the world around him.
